The Kansas Department of Transportation's traveler information website, KanDrive.org, has  provides motorists road condition details so they can make the best decisions each time when traveling throughout the state. Get real time information on road construction, detours, and winter weather conditions.

Organizations:

The following is a list of local foundations and organizations that​ provide various resources for our community.

  • CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates, 8th District - Advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
  • Care & Share - Charitable organization at 222 1/2 Main St., Council Grove, KS. Its mission is to provide emergency help to those in need.
  • Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness - Providing dynamic, culturally-sensitive, high-quality behavioral health care to area residents
  • Flint Hills Rebuilders - Provides home improvement and home repairs for low income families and/or disabled homeowners in the area.
  • Friends Helping Friends - Community group that helps provide financial assistance to cancer victims and their families living in Morris County, Kansas and the surrounding areas.
  • SOS Crisis Services  - Offer free and confidential services to victims of sexual and domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. Toll-Free 24-hr Hotline: 800-825-1295 or 620-342-1870
  • United Way of the Flint Hills -  Non-profit organization meeting local needs. Supports organizations in Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Lyon, Morris, Osage, Wabaunsee, and Woodson counties by connecting those who need help with the right services and support.
