The Neosho Riverwalk Amphitheater is a newly renovated venue that is an ideal setting for concerts, special occasions, or any other event you can dream up! The amphitheater is a city-operated venue with ADA accessibility and limestone seating for over 1,100. 

​

The park itself sits next to the Neosho River, with walking trails that connect to the Flint Hills Trail State Park. There is also a large playground area, picnic shelter, and several picnic tables throughout. 

 

We invite you to come out and make some memories in Council Grove!

  • How many seats will the new amphitheater have?
    The plans includes 586 seats, made of limestone.
  • How much is this project costing the city?
    The City is partnering with several grants on this project, including working with the Council Grove Area Foundation (CGAF). The CGAF’s Schultz Fund is offering a 1:1 match up to $125,000!
  • Will my contribution guarentee me a seat at events?
    No, your contribution will help us meet our completion goal but does not guarentee you a seat.
  • What donation amounts are accepted?
    All donation amounts are welcome! Donations of $200.00 or more will be permanently recognized. Larger donation recognition also available.
  • Will seat donations have a plaque or be engraved?
    Your contribution will be recognized with posted sponsor list at a later date. For cost effcitiveness seats will not be engraved or have a plague added to them.
